Italian Court Convicts Google Execs Over Privacy

An Italian court convicted three current and former Google executives for privacy violations in a case that dealt directly with how the Internet is regulated in Italy. In 2006, students at an Italian school filmed and uploaded a clip to Google's Italian Web site showing them bullying a schoolmate with Down syndrome. The court ruled the victim's privacy had been violated, and sentenced three executives to six-month suspended sentences.
